Clutch replacement is quite an involved but essential process. There are basically three options open to you when your clutch needs attention:-

1. Replacement of the clutch plate only, if the bearing and pressure plate are still serviceable. This work usually carries a one month guarantee.
2. Fitting a full re-conditioned clutch kit.
3. Fitting a new, fully guaranteed unlimited mileage clutch kit.

You may receive quotes for options 1 or 2 which initially look more attractive than fitting a new clutch. In our experience, fitting a new, fully guaranteed clutch delivers best value for money in the vast majority of cases.
