• Work organisation. Our MOT technician will do the MOT. Our admin staff will then prepare the documentation, which the technician will check and authorise.

We find that operating in this way enables us to keep to time scales given to customers in the vast majority of cases.

Personal Service
Not only do we strive to keep to time, we give a personal service too. As a regular customer you will get to know our technicians - not like a main dealer where you will probably never come into contact with one. At the other end of the scale we use our own staff to assist the testing technician. We know that it is not everyone's ambition to be hoisted 6ft up in the air on an MOT ramp!

A final note on customer service. We have developed a database of our customers and we will send you a reminder to book in with us when your MOT is due.

MOT Facilities
We have built up significant capacity to cope with the high volume of MOTs that we do.
At the Spring Street garage we have 5 service / repair ramps and an independent MOT bay.

The Wood Street garage has 9 service / repair ramps plus 2 independent MOT bays.
Both garages are authorised Class 4 MOT testing stations, which means we can test standard cars and light vans. In addition, the Wood Street garage is VOSA approved to carry out Class 7 MOTs, covering large vans.

Motorhome MOTs

The vast majority of motorhomes are Class 4 vehicles, therefore requiring a standard MOT. However, if your motohome or large van falls into the Class 7 MOT category, we have the capability to undertake this MOT.

We believe that we are the only garage businesses in the Wigan area with 3 Class 4 MOT bays and 1 Class 7 bay.

Testing Fees
We are usually able to offer a discounted MOT fee. Please ring for details of the current offer. We also offer a free of charge re-test if any repairs required are done by ourselves - you are certain to find our repair rates very competitive.

The combination of our service and competitive fees has helped us to build a high volume of MOT business, and more importantly to us, a large regular return customer base.

Repairs
We will offer a quotation for any repair work required for your vehicle. In the case of MOTs, we are geared to complete most repairs on the same day, avoiding the necessity for a return visit.
