In February
2007 we became a Unipart Car Care Centre. These Centres form
a network of over 1,300 independent local garages supported
by a nationwide guarantee and customer service pledge.

on any Unipart parts fitted by a Unipart Car Care Centre.
- Only recognised high quality OEM parts will
be fitted by a Unipart Centre.
- Customers will be dealing with their local
independent garage, yet will have the peace of mind regarding
quality of components and a national guarantee system backed
by the known and respected Unipart name.
For us, this partnership with Unipart represents
another component in our strategy to demonstrate to our current
and prospective clients that we work only to the highest standards
of service and fairness.
BSI Kitemark for Garage
Services
An immediate and practical benefit of the partnership will be
that Unipart will support us in working to attain the BSI Kitemark
for Garage Services. This recently introduced award sets a recognised
benchmark for the quality of garage services.
The BSI Kitemark for Garage Services is awarded only after a
thorough audit of our business has concluded that we meet the
required standard in a range of issues relating to quality and
service levels.
Wigan Trading Standards
Fair Play Charter
We are members of the Wigan Council Trading Standards Fair Play
Charter.
Wigan and other councils in Greater Manchester
have recognised that consumers have great difficulty in deciding
whether they are dealing with reputable garages, or ‘rogue
cowboy traders’. The motor trade, including repair and
servicing, is the first sector to be introduced to the Fair
Play Charter.
Wigan council state that garages that can 'demonstrate
their commitment to fair and honest trade will have their applications
accepted and may display the Fair Play Charter Logo.'
As a condition of membership we are audited every
12 months to ensure that we are operating in a fair and reputable
manner, against a detailed checklist of requirements.
